The ' the 7th division S of volunteers of mountain Prinz Eugen is a division of Waffen-SS.

History

August 1st Created in 1942 starting from Volksdeutsches of Croatia. Division decorated with six Iron Crosses.

Theaters of operations

August 1st Fight against the partisans. Destroyed on Oder.

In 1943, soldiers of division Prinz Eugen massacre all the inhabitants of the Serb village of Kosutica (Heinz Höhne, the black order, Histoire of the S, Casterman, Tournai, 1972, p.226).
This division is also responsible for the assassination of 2.000 Croats in Dalmatie, on March 28th, 1944 (Guido Knopp, the S, a warning of the History, Presses of the City, Paris, 2006, p.301)
