The 1e armor-plated division ( 1st Armored Division , called “ Old Ironsides ”) is a armor-plated division US Army, based in Germany whose staff is since 1973 with Wiesbaden Army Airfield.

Origins
In February 1932, the colonel Daniel Van Voorhis chooses 175 officers and committed of Strong Eustis and is established with Fort Knox, where it created a provisional group of armor-plated cars . Origins
