associated Teacher-researcher

In France, the associated teacher-researchers form a category of agents not-holders of the State exerting the functions of Teacher-researcher. It can be a question specialists in a field who wish to exert the functions of teacher-researcher during one duration limited or of teacher-researchers or researchers of a foreign establishment wishing to come for a certain duration to work in France. These functions can be exerted full-time or part-time.

In the establishment of higher education and research concerned with the minister of education main road, can be recruited in the capacity of professor of the universities associated or as lecturer associated full-time with the French or foreign personalities filling one of the following conditions:

Justifier of track records directly in connection with the taught speciality other that an activity of teaching, of at least seven years in the nine years which precede on January 1st by the year of recruitment for an associated university lecturer and, at least nine years in the eleven years which precede on January 1st by the year of recruitment for an associated professor of the universities.

Justifier one of the diplomas or equivalences necessary to become professor of the universities or university lecturer and to exert functions of teaching or research in one foreign establishment of higher education or research, or to have exerted such functions if the candidate with the political quality of refugee.

The full-time associated teacher-researchers are named for one duration which cannot be lower than six months, nor higher than three years. This nomination can be renewed, for one duration which cannot be higher than three years.
