Zydeco
The Zaricot ( Zydeco , in English) is a Musical genre appeared in the Années 1930 in Louisiana, close relative of the Music cajun or cadienne, including many influences Blues and Rhythm “Blues (played by of Cadiens and Créoles blacks of Louisiana). It finds its origins in an old style of rate/rhythm called “It” which does not exist any more. The instrument of predilection is the Accordéon.
The word Zydeco would come from the Anglo-American perception of a traditional piece “the beans are salted”, not become, “zaricot thereafter”, very short, then. The music is known from now on like, Zydeco or Zaricot.
In the beginning, the zydeco was only sung in French (and not in Creole). Then to the wire of the centuries, of Créolophones, in the form of Chénier brothers (see Ci-low), were presented and added a linguistic element which did not exist before.
The singers of the zydeco say themselves “Creole”, although the majority are French-speaking and most of acadian and noncreole origins.
