Zou (鄒) was a State of the periods of the Printemps and Falls and Royaumes combatants of the ancient China. The original name, Zhu (邾), was changed later on into Zou.

The State de Zou was located at the south-west of the current province of Shandong. Its territory is now that of the municipality of Zoucheng (邹城市).

The old name (姓) of the reigning family was CAD (曹). The State de Zou was conquered and annexed by the State of Chu during the reign of the king Xuan de Chu (楚宣王) (369 av. J. - C. - 340 av. J. - C.).

The Chinese philosopher Mencius is originating in this State.
