Zorba the Greek (
Αλέξης Ζορμπάς
/ Aléxis Zorbás ) is a film américano-Greek carried out by Michael Cacoyannis in 1964, adapted novel of Níkos Kazantzákis Aléxis Zorbás (1946).
Synopsis
When his/her father dies, a young British writer leaves in
Crete to take possession of his heritage: the residence of late is a mine of
Lignite. There, it meets Zorba, exuberant and picturesque Greek sexagenerian, with whom it will learn happiness to live.
