Zoological gardens of Lisieux
Commonly called Cerza , the Zoological gardens of Lisieux is in the North-East of the city, on the commune of Hermival them Vaux in the Calvados in France. It accommodates various animal species of Asia and Africa on an about sixty hectares.
In the beginning, 1986, Cerza meant C between E tude and of R echerche Z oological ''' has ''' ugeron. In addition to its aspect zoological gardens (220 000 visiteurs/an), its activity is devoted to the reproduction and the breeding of animals threatened of disappearance.
Member of EAZA (Association_européenne_des_zoos_et_des_aquariums), of WAZA (Association of the world zoos) and of ANPZ (National association of the zoological gardens French).
