Zillertal
Zillertal is the name of a valley located in the the Austrian Tyrol.
It constitutes the last area to have integrated the the Tyrol, in 1816.
The inhabitants live especially tourism thanks to which there are many hotels where one can rent rooms to enjoy the mountain and all the activities which one can occupy oneself to with it. For example, the valley is famous for the cities Mayrhofen and Zell amndt Ziller where there are some curioisities like the fountain of Europe (Europabrunnen), so much of old churches and a cheese dairy with an exposure which explains the manufacture of the products to milk to be visited. Moreover, much on visitors decide to roll in Zillertalbahn, especially because it is an old train with engines with vapor which makes it possible to the tourists to quickly go from Jenbach to Mayrhofen and to enjoy the nature which Zillertal proposes.
As the landscape inspires the sportsmen of mountain, much people on vacation there leave to ski in winter or to discover the footpaths in summer which make it possible to cross all the area while spending the night to the huts that alpine associations built, there is more than fifty years. The most known turn which makes it possible to the tourists to live the beauty of the Tyrol, it is the Zillertaler Runde which starts with the country cottage Gamshütte close to Finkenberg and which finishes with the refuge Kasseler Hütte with Mayrhofen. Moreover, one should not miss the mount Hochfeiler (3510m) when one goes in Zillertal, because it is a top without difficulties which one chooses normally to begin. Another sport which is very popular today, it is the bicycle of mountain for which one finds there so many various easy roads, but also much which are more exhausting.
Of course, there are many villages in Zillertal where one can deal with the winter sports as ski to which one prepared so many tracks and teleferics, chair-lifts or ski-lifts since the inhabitants earn money because of tourism. When one enters the valley which opens with Jenbach, there are soon the first cities as Kaltenbach which are well visited as soon as it starts to snow and later, one arrives at Zell amndt Ziller, the greatest station with the valley, which offers a connection to Gerlos and Königsleiten. Moreover, much of tourists prefer Mayrhofen or Finkenberg, because the mountain is higher there and then, the probability of finding good tracks increases itself when one chooses this station at the entry of the Tuxertal which continues after Ziller. With Hintertux, finally, it there with the possibility of skiing on a glacier (3300 m) which guarantees, even when one goes in August, to enjoy much what one saw, because the panorama is enough to see the German Alps, Swiss and tyroliennes of the south.
Since the world had surprised the Alps like an interesting area, the Austrian kitchen became very famous and today, its specialities like the Speckknödelsuppe (soup with pellets with ham) or the Kaiserschmarrn (large pancake with foam with apples and caster sugar) are even been useful abroad where they readily are ordered.
