Zibelemärit

The Marché to the onions ( Zibelemärit in German-speaking Switzerland Bernese) is a traditional festival which is held each year with Bern. It is held fourth Monday of November, extending in the old city between Haupt- and Nebengassen, like on Waisenhausplatz and the federal place. One there buys and consumes local specialities containing Oignon, such as cake and soup.

The market opens in the neighborhoods of three or four hours of the morning, and is concluded at sixteen hours by a battle from confettis.
