Zhanna Litvina
Zhanna Litnina is a Belorusse journalist .
Militant for the Freedom of expression, it is president of the Belorusse Association of the Journalists (BAJ).
It receives the Plume of gold of freedom of the Worldwide association of the newspapers (AMJ) to Dublin.
In 2004 it declares with the the European Parliament at the time of sound discourses for the handing-over of the Prix Sakharov in Belorusse Association of the Journalists: We can fight against this authoritarian regime only by breaking the state monopoly of information, by creating an information system open in which there will be place for freedom of expression and of opinion, also places for discussions and forums. We have very little time. In two years, there will be presidential elections in the country; it is our chance to become a new integral part of plain Europe.
