Zhang Yang

Zhang Yang (Chinese: 张扬; pinyin: Zhāng Yáng) is a Chinese realizer born in 1967, wire of the realizer Zhang Huaxun.

Zhang Yang carries out very realistic films, and is recognized since its film of 1999 Shower (洗澡 Xizao ), at the same time in China and in the international film festivals. Its second great success followed in 2001: Quitting .

Zhang grew with Beijing (Beijing), and studied until in 1988 at the Zhongshan University (or University Sun Yat-SEN) in the Guangdong where it obtained its diploma in Chinese literature, then with the Central Academy of Theater (中央戏剧学院) where it was graduate in 1992.
