Zfone

Zfone is a software multiplateforme of coding of flows of communication of internet telephony to the open standard SIP, functioning in P2P.

It was created in 2006 by Philip Zimmermann, creator of PGP (Pretty Good Privacy), software of electronic coding of courier.

It functions under Linux, Mac OS X and recently under Windows. It functions under Gizmo Project and should easily incorporate in all softphones SIP, in particular WengoPhone and Ekiga. The source code should be published, on the other hand, there is no yet license. Zfone was subjected to the IETF.

The two interlocutors wanting to quantify their communication must have installed and have launched the software and to have parameterized their software of VoIP on the port SIP (5060).
