Zevs

Zevs (delivery “Zeus”), born on November 17th, 1977 with Saverne, is a French, known contemporary artist since the years 1990 for its various works of urban Art (Street art), in particular in the town of Paris.

Among its major works, let us quote its Visual Kidnapping , on the Alexanderplatz with Berlin (Germany) of the egery of the coffees Lavazza, exchanged several months later against a ransom of 500.000€ given by the Italian mark to the Palais of Tokyo. Also let us quote its Urban Shadows , where it paints on the ground, with the manner of the silhouettes of corpses, the shadow of urban furniture; its Visual Attacks where it bends a red point in the middle of the face of such or such commercial icon; its Liquidated Logos where it dissolves or to run the logos of omnipresent marks in urban environment.

The pseudonym of ZEVS would have been selected in “homage” to the the RER which failed to crush it with beginning of the year 90, whereas it carried out a Graff.
