Zeev Drori is colonel of reserve of Tsahal, old ordering Guivati brigade and founder of the Hatzerim kibbutz.

It currently gives conferences to the Université Ben Gourion of Beersheba.

He is the author of several works relating to the time of the first years of the State of Israel:

• Israël' S Reprisal Policy, 1953-1956, The Dynamics off Military Retaliation , Taylor and Francis group, New York, 2005, ISBN 0714685178.
• The Israel Defense Forces and the foundation off Israel: Utopia in uniform , and Francis group, New York, 2005, ISBN 0714685526 and taking again the elements developed in its thesis of Doctorate.
