Zbyněk Michálek (born the December 23rd 1982 with Jindřichův Hradec in Czechoslovakia today town of Czech Republic) is a professional player of Hockey. His/her brother Milan is also professional player of hockey.

Career in club

It begins its career in its native land in 1999 while playing for the junior team from HC Karlovy Vary then decides to join the North America. It signs with the team of the Ligue of hockey junior major of Quebec the following season and then joined the Cataractes of Shawinigan with which it evolves/moves two seasons. It then draws to him the attention of the Aeros of Houston of the American Ligue of hockey team affiliated to the frankness from the National league of hockey of the Wild of Minnesota.

He plays his first season in the LAH in 2002-03 and gains the Coupe Calder. At the time of the following season, it makes its beginnings in the LNH with Wild and on August 26th, 2005, it joined the Coyotes of Phoenix in return of Erik Westrum and Dustin Wood.
