Zbigniew Oleśnicki (born the December 5th 1389 with Siennie - died on April 1st 1455 with Sandomierz) was a monk and Polish statesman, which were bishop of Cracow of 1423 until its death and became, in 1439, the cardinal first Polish.

Zbigniew Oleśnicki took an active share in the direction of the most important businesses of the country, first of all as secretary of the king during the reign of Ladislas II Jagellon, then as regent, during the minority of the king Ladislas III Jagellon.

The July 9th 1423, Zbigniew Oleśnicki is named bishop of Cracow. It is created cardinal the December 18th 1439.
