Zandwerven is a village of the Holland-Septentrional province of to the Netherlands. It belongs to the common of Opmeer.

The statistical district of Zandwerven (city and surrounding countryside) account 140 inhabitants approximately (2005).

• It should be noted that Zandwerven means " building sites of sable" in Dutch.
