Zagoué is a Christian dynasty having reigned in Ethiopia.

The tradition makes assemble on the throne of Ethiopia the dynasty of Zagoué (Zagues) in the middle of the 12th century (1135).

Between 1147 and 1150, one knows that a sovereign of Ethiopia asks the patriarch Cairo Jean the deposition of the métropolite Habib (Michel d' Itfiyah) which it says too old being for his load, but which actually refuses to recognize the emperor in question because he is a usurper.

The new dynasty, which bases its rights to the throne on a legendary marriage with the girl of one of the last kings of Aksoum, LED-Naod or Armah, remains however with the capacity, and the Church recognizes it. It belongs to the old race Agao, and is originating in the Bougéna. The center of the kingdom is transported in the middle of the mountains of the Lasta.

The list of kings Zagoué varies but three names are detached: Imraha, known to have based a church on the mountainside Abouna-Josef, Naakouéto-la-Ab, Lalibela (towards 1200).
