During the second world war, the Zaffer maquis was a maquis located in Loire-Atlantique in the triangle formed by the communes of Héric, Nort-sur-Erdre and Saffré.

In June 1944, one of the last German operations is the destruction of this maquis where 350 young men of the maquis little equipped hold head - before dispersing - with 2.500 Germans. 27 stopped men of the maquis will be shot on June 29th with the Castle of Bouvardière.
