Singer (interprets, author, type-setter) American French-speaking person of the Louisiana. Its repertory covers the musical inheritance Cajun (or cadien , i.e. Acadien of Louisiana). It was born with Lafayette in Louisiana the September 8th 1950, remote going down from the deportees Acadie NS like much of cajuns.

Famous in the French-speaking world, in particular in North America, it is one of the last representatives of the culture Francophone in Louisiana: the French-speaking people account for nothing any more but 7% of the Louisianian population, primarily of the elderly.

Since 1976 it recorded several French albums and some in English. The album which was greatest popular success was launched in 1994 under the title of " Cape enragé".

He is founding member of Action Cadienne, organization dedicated to protection and the promotion of the French language in Louisiana.
