Zach Randolph

Zach Randolph , born the July 16th 1981 in Marion in the Indiana, is an American player of Basket-ball evolving/moving in the club NBA of the New York Knicks at the station of interior.

Biography

Zach Randolph gains its first distinction by finishing second of the vote of Mr. Basketball at the time of his year senior to the college of Marion, behind Jared Jeffries. This year there it helps its college to gain its seventh title of State.

It goes then to the university of Michigan State, where it evolves/moves during two seasons before presenting to the Draft NBA in 2001.

It is selected in 19th position by the Portland TrailBlazers. The player is talented and mobile for his size (2m06). After two years of training, it gains in 2004 the title of player having progressed more . It signs at the conclusion of the season a 6 year old contract for 84 million dollars.

Its season 2004-05 is a little less good than the preceding one on the statistical level. He plays only 46 matches because of a wound to the knee.

In spite of its capacities to mark and take rebounds, Zach Randolph was the object of several criticisms because of its bad character. He is also regarded as a bad defendant and a bad frontier runner. In 2003, it was suspended two matches after having struck its fellow-member Ruben Patterson with the face at the time of a scuffle to the drive. It was also stopped for driving under influence of intoxication and under influence of the Cannabis. It was also present when his/her brother, Roger Randolph, were taken in a shooting in a discotheque of Indiana. His/her brother was finally put in prison.

June 28th, 2007, day of the draft, it is transferred to the New York Knicks in company from Fred Jones, daN Dickau and of the player drafté in 53e position, Demetris Nichols, in exchange of Steve Francis, Channing Frye and of one 2nd turn of Draft 2008.
