Z-95 Headhunter

The Z-95 Headhunter or Headhunter is a space hunter conceived jointly between the Corporation Incom and Subpro Industries before the release of the Guerre of the clones, it is regarded as the best hunter of its time. This hunter is smaller than its successor ARC-170 and later T-65 X-wing. Although Z-65 continued to enjoy a use by the Nouvelle Republic several defense forces planet gear and the pirate organizations, it was quickly outclassed by better adapted apparatuses a few decades after its actuation. Compared with T-65 X-wing it slower, manoeuvrable, less better is protected and especially less better armed. Remain that Incom/Subpro made modifications to this hunter each year since its creation, so that there remain competitive, note the hull of the hunter which will be unceasingly reinforced and the system of targeting which were improved.

Favors

From its long life of life, it is not surprising to see that it cohabits several alternatives of this hunter. There exists of Z-95 with wing-X, the versions for dispach riders, another heavily armed and a model with drive used by the New Republic until the appearance of T-65 X-wing especially conceived for this purpose. Moreover, as it is old, it is very well-known mechanics responsible for their maintenance who often made modifications themselves to the apparatuses that they had under the hand. A very current improvement of this hunter is the change of the systems of weapons and the engines. For example the Z-95 AF4 has engines with fission Incom 2a, is armed with two gun-laser Taim & Bak KX5 and with two missile launchers with misappropriation Krupx MG5. Thus there remains a very appreciated vessel, in spite of its age, of the criminal organizations as Talon Karrde which has several of them.

Famous Z-95

Mara Jade has its own modified Z-95 but it was destroyed at the time of the combat against the Flotte Katana, fortunately, it was in a hangar of a Imperial Destroyer and Mara was not wounded
