Yvon Taillandier

Yvon Taillandier is painter, sculptor, French writer. Born in 1926 with Paris. 1942 First personal exposure to the gallery French art with Lyon. In the Fifties, Yvon Taillandier gives up painting with the profit of the Literature (critic art, history of art). Collaboration during fourteen years with the Review Knowledge of Arts and the Review 20th century.

He was secretary of the Committee of the Salon of May during 44 years.

The painting of Yvon Taillandier is figurative, constantly narrative and creates an imaginary world with its characters, its events. Inventor of the " Taillandierland" , the painter describes this world invented with his inhabitants, his universe. Mixing image and language, Yvon Taillandier claims himself of a literary painting.
