Yvon Pradeille

Yvon Pradeille is a Politician French born on January 5th 1934 with Mauguio, in the Herault. Before its retirement, he followed the occupation of data processing specialist.

Political course

In 1989, it is elected city council man of Mauguio on the list of the socialist Michel Bacala. Re-elected in 1995, he becomes first assistant of the mayor.

In dissension with Michel Bacala and Georges Frêche, mayor PS of Montpellier, as for the entry of Mauguio in the the Community of agglomeration of Montpellier, it presents to the municipal elections 2001 vis-a-vis Michel Bacala where it is elected mayor under various label the “left”. He obtains at January 1st, 2004 the exit of his commune of Montpellier Agglomération, which integrates the Communauté of communes of the Country of the Gold whose Pradeille becomes the president.

In 2004, it is elected General adviser (various left) of the Canton of Mauguio where it beats again the Socialist Michel Bacala at the time of quadrangular where were also present the National front and the mayor UMP of the Large-Mound Henri Dunoyer.

In September 2006, it resigns of the function of mayor of Maugio for health reasons and is replaced by Yvon Bourrel.
