Yvon Pesqueux

Yvon PESQUEUX , born on June 18th 1951, is professor with the Conservatoire national of arts and trades, holder of the pulpit of development of the systems of organization and author of works of sciences of the organizations.

Biography

It obtains a doctorate in economy with the University of bets 1 - Sorbonne in 1975 and the Aggregation of the economic techniques of management the same year.

It tackles the question of the organization on the basis of existence of a science of the organizations (a unit “Théorie of the organizations - organisational questions - techniques of organization”) and considers that this corpus is the only really conceptual corpus in management. It puts forward the fundamental importance of the concept of representation in organization.

It covers since the drafting of its Organization work: models and representations (PUF, bets, 2002) the field of sciences of the organizations starting from this prospect.

It stresses the essential importance of the political dimension of the economic activity. There is no business beside the company but the business is a social activity among others.

It thus stresses also the fundamental importance of philosophy (and in particular of political philosophy) to sciences of the organizations.
