Yvon Chotard

Yvon Chotard born in 1921 with the Madeleine - deceased on November 12th 1998 was a French editor, employers' trade unionist and the representative of France near the International organization of Work.

License in right, Diploma of higher learning of public law. Certificate of traditional literary studies. Diploma of the Private school of political sciences.

Career

  • Creation in 1945 of the Editions France-Empire in Paris which it directed until 1990.

  • It founds and chairs the Jeune French Economic room in 1952
  • President of section of the Economic and Social Council of 1964 until its death.
  • President of 1975 with 1979 of the National union of the edition and the Circle of the bookstore.
  • Of 1971 and 1972 it chairs the commission Enseignement training of the National council of French employers (CNPF).
  • Of 1972 with 1986, he is vice-president of CNPF in charge of the social Affairs.
  • First vice-president of CNPF of 1981 with 1986.
  • In 1994, it is charged by the Prime Minister with chairing the Preparatory Committee the Social Summit of the Heads of state and government.
  • Délégué holder of the French government to the Board of directors of the International office of work of 1987 with 1998 it chairs this Council twice (1991 - 1992) and (1995 - 1996).
