Its published work is composed of 7 Romance which has all a joint bottom of truth collected in the daily life of its soil. The quality first of its novels is the restitution in detail of the country life of the South-west of France, placing its work with the row of document: old habits and rites, agricultural work rates/rhythms by the seasons, values of a working class, places religion in the campaigns, relations of the family with the village… moderate painting of an area and of its heart, all that shows through and speaks to us.
All these novels have as a decoration the Batch, and in particular the village of Frontenac (between Figeac and Cajarc in the Lot). The places, the houses exist or existed. The family members of the author, the neighbors, are in turn clarified and take their places in each stories, like large a " Comedy humaine" country-woman.
