Yves of Alegre
Yves of Alegre , (born in 1653, dead the March 3rd 1733), fifth of the name, marquis of Tourzel and lord of Montaigu, Saint-Flour-the-Châtel, Aurouze and Aubusson, Count de Flageac, Marshal of France in 1724.
It takes part in all the wars of Louis XIV: War of Holland, War of the league of Augsburg, War of succession of Spain. Colonel of the Royal regiment dragons of May 1679 at April 1693, it takes part in the seats of Limbourg, Condé, Valencian, Cambrai, Luxembourg and with the Bataille of Steinkerque where a shot breaks the arm to him.
He takes part in the Bataille of Walcourt in 1689, is made Brigadier in March 1690, and takes part in the battles of Fleurus on July 1st. He is named in March 1693 Brigadier and in January 1702 Lieutenant-general.
He is made prisoner in 1705, released on word like secret negotiator. After the failure of the negotiations, it is réincarcèré and released in 1712. The same year, it takes part in the taken of Douai the September 8th, that of the Quesnoy the October 4th and of Bouchain the October 11th.
He becomes governor of Saint-Omer in 1706, Lieutenant-general of the Languedoc in 1707 then Gouverneur of Metz in 1723. He is made marshal in 1724 and Chevalier of the Holy Spirit in 1728.

Of Alegre the August 29th 1679 Jeanne marries (1658 - 1723), girl of Jean de Garaud, lord of Doneville. They will have 5 children:- Yves-Emmanuel (? - 1705) Count d' Alègre and of Millau
