Yves Tavernier
Yves Tavernier , French politician, was born the October 20th 1937 with Lyon (the Rhone). He is bachelor of law and holder of a diploma of third cycle in political sciences. Yves Tavernier was research director with the national Foundation of political sciences. Near to Michel Rocard, he was an regional adviser of Île-de-France of 1981 to 1982, and appointed PS of the the Essonne since 1981, beaten in 1993, before being again elected in 1997. He is not re-elected in 2002, not beaten by Genevieve Colot (UMP).
General adviser of the Canton of Dourdan of 1979 to 2004 and mayor of this city since 1983.
He is president of the National committee of water since 1997. He presented in the name of the committee of supply of the National Assembly a report/ratio entitled " The Ambassador, between tradition and modernité" devoted to the reorganization of the French diplomatic network.
He was member of the Executive committee of the interparliamentary Union. It presented many reports/ratios and engaged to it for the Israeli-Arab bringing together, setting up a meeting between the president of the Knesset and that of the Palestinian Legislative council.
