Yves Pélicier

Yves Pélicier is a Psychiatre French (1925 - 1996).

Biography

It approached, in its publications, the majority of the aspects of psychopathology, and was pointed out particularly by its work in Mental health and social Psychiatry. He becomes Professor emeritus of the Medical college Sick Necker-Children, in Paris. President of the European Company of Social Psychiatry, it chaired the National Commission of the Mental diseases (1988-1992) and created the Inter-University National Capacity of Alcoologie and Toxicomanie.
He is member of several French companies of Psychology and Psychiatry, and member corresponding of many foreign companies of Psychiatry. He took part, with the pr. Christian Herve, with the creation of the Laboratory of Medical ethics and Public health of the University Rene Descartes (PARIS V), of which he directed the doctoral formation. It was also interested in the relationship between new technologies and operation of the human brain by supporting research projects within its faculty (expert systems). The pr. Yves Pélicier belonged to the Editorial board of several French and international reviews of Psychologie and Psychiatrie.
