Yves Galland

Yves Galland (born the March 8th 1941 with Paris) is a Politician and a Business man French.

Biography

After studies of right, it begins its career in the business world before also entering that of the policy while becoming European Député of 1979 to 1986, then of 1989 with 1995 under the label of the Radical party valoisien (then component of the UDF), of which he is member since 1977. It occupies the functions of general secretary of this party of 1983 with 1986 then of president of 1988 with 1994.

He becomes deputy secretary with the local government agencies in the second government of Jacques Chirac of 1986 with 1988, Minister of Industry in the first government of Alain Juppe in 1995, and finally deputy secretary with Finances and the Foreign trade in the second of 1995 with 1997. This station, it in particular made adopt the Loi Galland legally defining a new calculation of threshold of resale at a loss for the calculation of cost price of the tradesmen, distinguishing in fact the Marge postpones front margin.

It turns over then full-time in the private one while becoming president of Europ Assistance in 2000, then president of Boeing France in 2003, while remaining to advise of Paris.
