Yves Gabias

Yves Gabias (Montreal, December 8th, 1920 - Three-Rivers, March 25th, 2002) is a lawyer, a Juge and a politician Québécois.

He is the father of the deputy André Gabias.

Political experiment

Gabias is elected appointed National union in the district of Three-Rivers in 1960. He is re-elected in 1962 and 1966. He was secretary of the province of Quebec, Minister for the financial institutions, companies and co-operatives, like Minister for immigration in the governments of Daniel Johnson and Jean-Jacques Bertrand. In 1969, it left the political life to sit at the court of Quebec.
