Yves Duteil is a Chanteur French, Auteur-compositeur-interprète, born the July 24th 1949. It is also by the chances of the genealogy the small nephew of the Capitaine Dreyfus to which it devoted a song (on the album Touché ).
Concurrently to its sentimental and poetic songs, it engages in its work and its personal life, policy and associative as a defender of the French language, the rights of the children, peace and the environment.
Its Masters in writing are Georges Brassens, Felix Leclerc and Jacques Brel.
It is since 1989 mayor of the commune of the Précy-on-Marne in Seine-et-Marne. He is also member of the committee of sponsorship of the French Coordination for the Decade of the culture of peace and non-violence.
He is sung by other artists, in particular Pink Laurens, Nana Mouskouri, Joan Baez, Mireille Mathieu, Fabienne Thibeault, Allain Leprest and Michel Fugain.
