He collaborates in a certain number of specialized magazines (“Cinema”, “Midday Fantastic Midnight”, “French Letters”), and works with Jean-Pierre Coursodon and Bertrand Tavernier with the first edition (1960) of “Twenty Years of American Cinema”.In the Years 1970, it incarnates a cinema protester, and at the great day, capacities and ideologies in place, being often inspired by event realities: the police force ( a cop ), the business Ben Barka ( the Attack ), racism ( Dupont Lajoie ), the intrusion of the policy in the judicaire ( the Judge Beech says the Sheriff ). He is also the first to openly approach the Guerre of Algeria ( R.A.S. ). He in addition adapts several recognized authors: Michel Déon and his mauve taxi , Marie Cardinal with the Key on the door , Jean-Patrick Insane Cuff with to kill , Philippe Djian and Blue like the hell .
Starting from the medium of the Years 1980, it is devoted almost exclusively to the Télévision (its last feature-length film of cinema in date is the Tribe in 1990), with historical achievements of prestige which continue to question the morals of the behaviors and the capacities, and the brittleness of their actors: the Business Seznec , the Business Dreyfus , the pants (Business Lucien Bersot, shot for the example), Jean Moulin .
