Yves Bergougnan (known as the Shark for its flights stops large open, or the Prince ) is a player of Rugby to XIII and Rugby to XV, born the May 8th 1924 with Toulouse and deceased the April 15th 2006 in the same city, half of fray of 1 m 78 per 74 kg of Toulouse Olympique Studied Club (TOEC) then Stade Toulousain, wire of a artist-painter professor at the school of the Art schools of Toulouse, and itself very good pianist.

He started by making his classes with Rugby with XIII. Very slim, it had a great elegance of play, because it controlled of them perfectly all the technical epic thanks to innumerable drives. Of a total abnegation, excelling with the drop goal, he was a perfect strategist within the team of the butchers … and had a starting foot stopped with no one another similar!
Il was of the team of France for the first victoreuse time of Welsh, on their ground, in 1948, in particular in the sides of some… Jean Prat, and took part in the first round of the team of foreign ground France: the Argentinian in 1949.
Il held a trade of clothing thereafter.

  • 17 selections in team of France, of 1945 with 1949 (it was thus in 1948 the last player to register a drop at 4 points, in international match vis-a-vis in England), only stopped by a wound with the shoulder, which made him stop Rugby at 25 years.

  • Coupe de France: 1944 (with TOEC), 1946 and 1947 (the record for this competition, with Robert Barran)
  • Finalist of the Coupe de France in 1949.
