Yves Bergeron

Yves Bergeron (born the January 11th 1952 with Malartic with the Canada) is a former player of Canadian Hockey.

Career of player

Bergeron played its career junior with the Bruins de Shawinigan with the Quebec. It succeeds in impressing the dépisteurs of the Penguins de Pittsburgh of LNH, it was thus fished out by the latter. The Nordiques of Quebec, of future the Worldwide association of hockey also believed them in him. It was then selected at the time of the general fishing out of the players of the preceding AMH the inaugural season.

Wanting to remain in its Quebec native, it decided to join the rows of Scandinavian in 1972. It evolved/moved for this club which one season, because it signed the second year of its contract with the club-school of Quebec, that is to say with the Nordiques of Maine of the North American Hockey League. The following year, it joined the Bears de Hershey in the American Ligue of hockey and succeeds in joining LNH for two parts with the Penguins de Pittsburgh. He played two other seasons with Hershey, succeeding in only playing that another part with Pittsburgh. He took his retirement at the end of the season 1976-77.

After only one year with the retirement, it accepted a station as player-trainer with the Alpines of Bathurst in the North Shore New Brunswick Senior Hockey League. Its stay was prolonged until the end of the season 1984-85.

February 12th, 1972: selected by the Scandinavian of Quebec to the general fishing out of the players of AMH of 1972.

Career of trainer

After one year complete without bond with hockey, he became player-trainer for the Alpines of Bathurst. He occupied the station of 1978 with 1985.
