Yves-Marie Hilaire
Yves-Marie Hilaire is a historian of the religions French born in 1927. He is Professor emeritus of Modern history to the Université Charles-of-Gaulle Lille-III.
From 1981 to 1984, he is director of the GRECO (Grouping of coordinated research) of CNRS “religious History modern and contemporary”. As from 1985, it Co-directs with Jean-Marie Mayeur a vast project of drafting of a Dictionnaire of the religious world in contemporary France (1955-2000). Yves-Marie Hilaire directed and contributed to many collectives relating to the Christian life to France.
