Yvaral
Jean-Pierre Vasarely known as Yvaral , born the January 25th 1934 and deceased in 2002 was a painter. Wire of Victor Vasarely ( Yvaral comes from Yves Aral , its first pseudonym, an anagram of the name of artist of its father). Cofounder of the Group of Search for Visual Art (GRAV) in 1960, it is inter alia the creator of most famous logos of the automobile mark Renault (1973 - 1992).
He is undoubtedly the creator of the term “ numerical Art ” that it uses since 1975. “ Numérique ” meaning here: “ governed by the nombres ” and not “ informatique ” , since they are only ten years later that Yvaral will be helped of the computer tools in its work.
