Yvan Dutil
Yvan Dutil is a Canadian Astrophysicien, which with his/her colleague Stephan Dumas, created a system of coding resistant to the noise for the messages in direction of extraterrestrial civilizations. This system was used in the design of messages launched in star direction close since the radio telescope to Evpatoria to Ukraine in 1999 and 2003. He is also Member of the Commission of Bioastronomie of the International Astronomical Union and the Standing Committee on the Recherche of Extraterrestrial Intelligence of the International Academy of Astronautics.
He is also very active in the fight with the luminous Pollution in Quebec. Particularly in the file of the creation of a reserve of starry sky to the Mount Mégantic.
It is also interested in the history of astronomy, the reform of the way of voting and the related questions with the Sustainable development.
