Yuu Watase () is a dessinatrice of Manga.
It was born in the town of Kishiwada, Ōsaka, the March 5th 1970.

Biography

It begins its career of mangaka at the 18 years age after having proposed one of its news to the editor Shojo Comics. It avoids the tiresome stage of the assistantship which is almost the required passage to become mangaka. After several series short not exceeding 3 volumes, it launches its first long series which are Fushigi Yuugi with which it is success. It confirms with Ayashi No Ceres which is also successful series.

Its stories are included in the category of the Shōjo manga and generally mèlent humor and fantastic.
