Yusuf II of Grenade

Abû Al-Hajjâj “Al-Mustaghanî” Yûsuf II Ben Mohammed is the eleventh emir nasride of Grenade. He is the son of Mohammed V Al-Ghanî and he succeeds to him in 1391. Its court reign occurs under the dependence from the Mérinides. Yûsuf II was a peaceful monarch, favorable to arts and sciences. In spite of its precautions in seen to protect itself from a imprisonment, coup d'etat, died of some familiar and characters of the court, it is deposed and dies poisoned on October 3rd 1392. His/her son Mohammed VII Al-Musta `in succeeds to him.
