Yul Brynner
Yul Brynner (born the July 7th 1915 with Vladivostok and deceased the October 10th 1985 with New York) was an American actor of origin Mongolian Suisse, and Russian.
Biography
From its true name Juli Borisovitch Bryner (in Russian ЮлБорисовичБриннер), Yul Brynner was born the July 7th 1915 with Vladivostok, in Russia. He is the son of Boris Bryner, an engineer of father Suisse and Mongolian mother , and Marousia Blagоvidova, the girl of a Russian doctor of Jewish origin . His/her parents have it fore-mentioned Juli in the honor of his/her paternal grandfather, Jules Bryner.
In 1927, when Boris Bryner leaves the marital home and gives up his family, Marousia takes along his/her Yul children and Vera to Harbin, in China, where they attend a school held by a YMCA. Then, in 1934, all the three settle with Paris. To earn its living, Yul Brynner plays of the guitar in nightclubs. It meets intellectuals such as Jean Cocteau and becomes apprentice with the Théâtre of Mathurins. Then, he works as trapezist with the Cirque of Winter.
As of 1941, it leaves for the the United States in order to study the theater with Michael Chekhov. It then starts to occur with Broadway under the name of Youl Bryner . It makes to its beginnings with the cinema in 1949 in the Drug squad . Starting from 1951, it is made famous while interpreting the king de Siam Mongkut in the Opérette of Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein the King and me . For this role, it accepted in 1952 the Tony Award of the best actor of musical comedy in a supporting role. The part, which he played nearly three thousand times and for which he shaved cranium, was transposed to the cinema in 1956 by Walter Lang. For this service, that which is made from now on know under the name of Yul Brynner gains the Oscar of the best actor. Yul Brynner had four wives and five children. In 1944, it marries Virginia Gilmore (an actress), with which it had a son, Yul Jr., born in 1946. He divorces in 1960 to marry the same year with Doris Kleiner (a mannequin Chile in) which gave him a girl, Victoria, born in 1962. After a divorce in 1967, it marries Jacqueline de Croisset (a French ) with whom it adopted two girls born with the Vietnam, Mia, born in 1974, and Melody, born in 1975. He divorces in 1981 and marries in 1983 Kathy Lee (a dancer), with which it remained until his death. He also had a newborn except marriage, Lark, was born in 1958 and raised by his mother.
In the middle of the years 1980, Yul Brynner learns that it is reached of a Lung cancer due to its excessive consumption of Tabac (five packages per day). He dies the October 10th 1985 with New York, at the seventy years age. Its ashes rest in the cemetery of the orthodoxe Saint-Michel-of-Wood-Aubry monastery, in the commune of Luzé in Touraine.
