Yuan Zhen
元稹 Yuan Zhen (779 - 831) is a Chinese writer of the Dynastie Tang. Poet and famous for his long friendship with Bai Juyi, he is the author of the account the Biographie of Yingying ( 鶯鶯傳 ), which was going to be adapted in ballades and operas.
