Yu (Stargate)
Yu is a character of the series Stargate SG-1. It belongs to the council of the large Masters Goa' uld. It is characterized in particular by its character cold and distant, considered and given, which makes of him an exception in the council of the large Masters.
It appears in several episodes of the series and does not incarnate the " all the time; malicious and diabolic Goa' uld" contrary to the majority of its confrêres. It appears the first time at the time of a meeting with the land ones and Thor in the second season in order to negotiate a treaty of not-invasion of the ground. It helps sometimes indirectly the team SG-1 and went until releasing Teal' C once so that this last can say to his/her companions that the new free chief of the jaffas, was in fact Goa' uld. It forms also an alliance of large Masters in order to overcome Anubis, become too powerful.
It becomes then senile because of its great age and owing to the fact that its sarcophagus does not help it any more to be looked after. It is indeed one of the most former Master Goa' uld.
This character is inspired by legendary the Yu Large the of the Chinese Mythologie.
