Young stag Comes the Sun

Here Comes The Sun is a Chanson of George Harrison being reproduced on the last disc recorded by the Beatles, Abbey Road , and which opens the face B on the original 33 turns published the September 26th 1969.

Composition

George Harrison has composed this song in the garden of the property of her friend Eric Clapton spring 1969, by one afternoon sunny. He then sought to escape the atmosphere heavy from a group dislocating, while the vehement ones and interminable argumentations punctuated of as much interminable meetings implying the musicians and their new manager repudiated by Paul McCartney, Allen Klein. This sun ray arriving after a long winter cold and recluse was commented on by Harrison like “ a true release. The song came all alone ”.

Interpretation

As on other titles of the same album, George Harrison plays there in particular of a new whole instrument, the analogical Synthétiseur Moog. It is the principal Chanteur of this title and is also accompanied with the acoustic Guitare and the Orgue Hammond. It places a Capodastre on the 7th box of its guitar to obtain a Tonalité in the major. It had already used this process on a song of the album Rubber Soul, If I Needed Someone , played in same the Tonalité.

Paul McCartney is with the chorus S and the low . Ringo Starr is with the Batterie. All are with the “ handclaps ” (they type in their hands). Only John Lennon did not contribute to the song: it recovered from an car accident at the time of sound recording.

A Orchestre directed by George Martin plays the Arrangement for viola, Violoncelle, Contrebasse, flutes piccolo and viola, and Clarinette.

This song was taken again by many artists, in particular by Peter Tosh, Richie Havens, Nina Simone, Bon Jovi, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Bill Laswell, Belle and Sebastian, Ben Harper, Jewel, etc George Harrison sang it in Duo with Paul Simon.
