Young Jeezy is an American rappor. Its true name is Jay Jenkins , it was born the September 28th 1977 with Columbia in South Carolina. Also known under the nickname of " Snowman "(in reference to the Cocaine, because in the American slang, snow defines coke), its old blaze (pseudonym) was " Lil J". Formerly dealor, it is now one of the major figures of the Dirty South, the scene rap of the south of the the United States.

Its childhood

Although Young Jeezy was born in South Carolina, it passed most of its childhood in the town of Mason, in Georgia, not very far from Atlanta. He moved later with Atlanta, with West 4th Ward. The rappor does not like too much to be delayed on his childhood, this one thus remains rather vague. One knows just that he was a dealor of cocaine and that he was most probably affiliated with the Black Mafia Family, notorious gang of Atlanta.

Musical career

It should first of all be known that Young Jeezy does not like to be defined like a Rappeur, but rather like a trapper (from where the title its individual " Trap Star ") because according to him, its true role is to describe the universe of the street . It left its first album under its first blaze, " Lil J" , its first opus was entitled Fuggin' under the influence. It left in 2001 and some artists of reputation were invited there, such Lil Jon. Two years afterwards, it always leaves - of independent its second album Like Shop wit' Me , which runs out with 50000 specimens in the World. Since, Young Jeezy was invited on the many individual ones with success such " Icy" of Gucci Basket, " Say I" of Christina Milian. In 2006, Jeezy leaves The Inspiration , a good album certainly, but not on the same level as its precedent, in spite of guests of quality: T.I, Keyshia Sticks, R.Kelly or the Three 6 Maffia. Its individual " I Luv It" is classified 14th in Bilboard Hot 100.

Private life and anecotes

• Young Jeezy has a 10 year old son who lives with his mother.

• the March 12th 2006, Jeezy was done stopped with Miami for wearing of weapon, whereas it does not have any license.
• Young Jeezy maintains very good relationships with Cam' Ron, The Game, T.I, Young Buck or Ludacris.
• After the hurricane Katrina, Jeezy let some refugees of the New-Orleans settle temporarily at his place.
