It was the first and last film carried out by Coluche. Dissatisfied by the end result and the commercial failure of film, it decided not to renew the experiment.

Gerard Lanvin finds here its first big role, after having been appearing the previous year in the Wing or the thigh . The song " One calls me the white knight " , that he interprets on several occasions during film, was composed by Serge Gainsbourg.
