You pol. is a character pertaining to the universe of fiction of Star Trek , and more particularly of the series Star Trek: Enterprise , interpreted by the actress Jolene Blalock.

Biography

You pol. is a Vulcan E, officer as a second and scientific officer on board the '' Enterprise NX-01 ''.

Of an austere nature governed by the logic and the perfect control of its emotions, it however is not stripped of sensuality.

Having begun its career like security agent on behalf of the High command Vulcan, it ends up choosing a more scientific way while being used in particular for edge of the Selaya (ordered by the Voris captain) in 2148. Noticed by the ambassador Soval, who sees in it a great potential and brilliant future predictpredicts to him, it becomes one of its principal collaborators.

Its first contact with the Human ones goes back to year 2149 whereas it is in station within the delegation vulcaine of Sausalito on Ground. But its career, once again, changes direction.

In 2151, against the recommendations vulcaines, the Land ones decide to launch out in the great adventure of the exploration of the Galaxie. Following the pressures exerted by the High command on the persons in charge of Starfleet, You pol. is thus seen affected on board the Enterprise NX-01 (the objective of Vulcains being in fact to supervise progress of their allies and to slow down them in their thirst for exploration).

Being wary and suspicieuse in their connection, she regards the Human ones as primitive and irrational. She is hardly long however in testing a deep respect towards the captain Jonathan Archer and becomes with the wire of the months one of her most honest team members. These is the new fidelity which pushes it into 2153 to resign of its station near the High command in order to follow it within Delphique space (or Delphic Expanse).

On return to earth at the end of the mission of the Enterprise NX-01 in the middle of this unknown area, it decides definitively to join Starfleet with the rank of commander.

Hastily married to Koss (a Vulcan to which she was promised of long time) in 2154, she divorces the same year and cannot hide its feelings towards Charles Tucker III (the chief engineer of the Enterprise NX-01 ). The fusion of their DNA S respective leads even to the birth of a girl (fore-mentioned Elisabeth in remembering the sister of Tucker, victim of the Xindi S) but the newborn does not survive the process of Clonage of which it is the fruit.
