Yoshizumi Ashikaga

Yoshizumi Ashikaga (, Ashikaga Yoshizumi ) (January 15th 1481 - September 6th 1511) was eleventh Shoguns Ashikaga of the Period Muromachi of the history of the Japan. Yoshizumi was the son of Masamoto Ashikaga and the grandson of the sixth shogun, Yoshinori Ashikaga and reigned of 1494 with 1508.

Adopted by the eighth shogun Yoshimasa Ashikaga, it will be instituted '' Seii Taishogun '' by Masamoto Hosokawa in 1494, then évincé in 1508 when the tenth shogun Yoshitane Ashikaga takes again its title to him.

Its sons Yoshiharu Ashikaga and Yoshihide Ashikaga will become respectively the twelfth and fourteenth shoguns.
