Yoseikan Budo
The Yoseikan Budo is a founded Martial art in 1975 in France by Maître Hiroo Mochizuki born in 1936 with Shizuoka (Japan), wire of Master Minoru Mochizuki with whom it owes the essence of his knowledge. It is based on the principle of the Shock wave, or " movement ondulatoire" to increase the speed and the power of the techniques. Its practitioners carry a behavior of the type karategi (Kimono) comprising a blue cross jacket marinades and white pants with blue band. Contrary to the Karate, the Judo or the Vietnamese soldier vo CAD where the belts indicate the ranks, the practitioners, of the beginner to the creator of the discipline, carry all the same white and blue belt, representing the union of Yin and Yang and symbolizing the principle of wave.
Maître Mochizuki considers the important sporting shutter in the development of a practitioner. This is why he encourages the individuals to practice the martial side as much that the sporting side. Though an important global area network of competition is in place for the high level athletes, the pupils of all levels are likely to practice the flexible shapes of combat of the type “helps” inside the framework of the courses.
Yoseikan Budo breaks up into eight martial forms:
-
Yoseikan Iaido : art to declad the saber
- Yoseikan Kenjutsu: the art of the handling of the weapons
- Yoseikan Bajutsu: the combat with horse
- Yoseikan Goshin-Jutsu: the coil-defense , against an adversary with naked hands or armed
- Yoseikan Karate: control katas and fights with naked hands
- Yoseikan Aiki: work of the keys, projections, fixed assets and throttlings
- Yoseikan Kenpo: work of the atemis (percussions) and of projections in sporting form
- Yoseikan Training: form physical drive in the form of a dynamic gymnastics accompanied by music.
The sporting form is practiced with protective gears which ensure the safety of the athletes. They can then practice the shape of combat with contact by strongly reducing the risk of wound. The last World cup of Yoseikan Budo proceeded on May 21st, 2005 in Paris. 13 countries were represented there.
It should be noted that in North America one finds in addition to Yoseikan Budo as described here an martial art also named Yoseikan and who corresponds to work of Minoru Mochizuki in Aikido. This discipline is distinct from that of which it is question here and is a form of Aikido, called in France Aikibudo. See Yoseikan Budo (Aikido).
